Bleu Clair & Osvaldorio drop 'False God' on Insomniac's IN / ROTATION imprint
For its next issue, the IN / ROTATION crew is reaching over to Indonesia to pull two of the most buzzing house producers for a collab called "False God".
Bleu Clair has been tearing through the house scene with highly versatlie output that has seen him land records on labels from across the dance music space, including Barong Family, Dim Mak, noir sur blanc, Artist Intelligence Agency and more. He’s now being welcomed into the IN / ROTATION fold, as he links up with fellow Indonesian up-and-comer Osvaldorio.
“Me & Osvaldorio go way back since college years,” says Bleu Clair. "We made plenty tracks together but only few were properly finished. I have my own individual way of envisioning specific musical aspects when it comes to arranging a song and so does he. As a result, it was a challenge at first to merge our contrasting inputs into 'False God'. Nonetheless, countless hours of studio sessions together manifested into this outcome that we are truly satisfied with."
The nasty four-on-the-floor number rumbles with the perfect ratio between their bass-riddled styles. Across its three-and-a-half minute run, Bleu Clair and Osvaldorio give the bird straight to institutionalized religious figures by creating a trouble-making groove that dances around a skeptical vocal sample, shuffling drums, scampering synth progressions and a mischievous riff.
