Stop everything — Nitti Gritti and Gammer have teamed up for a brand new, massive collab called “Underdogs” and you need to hear it now.
The song doesn’t rush into it, starting off slow and beautiful. But, don’t let these guys fool you for a moment — “Underdogs” is a banger in every sense of the word. Determined to not be underestimated, Nitti Gritti and Gammer deliver an untamed production that simply won’t let up.
The lead synths are absolutely bananas. The kind that instigate thoughts like — “WTF is this?” No sense in trying to figure it out, because every time they bring it back for a drop, the song hits in a totally different way.

Recent events at our nation’s borders have been a cause for activism. Immigration is a hotter topic than it has been in years, and many people are speaking out against the United States’ treatment of immigrants from Mexico, illegal or not. Carnage knows better than most what it’s like to come from a family of illegal immigrants, and his newest project aims to shine a light and add a human face to what these people go through.
For his new song “Letting People Go,” Carnage took a different direction in his sound to tell a story that was important to him. It’s about being with family and overcoming hardships, and doing everything you can to stay together at all costs.
Carnage’s grandmother and mother, like so many others who cross the US border illegally, were separated and detained at one of the same Texas border cities where migrants are being held today. In the 1970s, his grandmother fled the vicious bloodshed of the Nicaraguan Revolution with her five children.
Though Carnage was born in Washington, D.C., he grew up in Guatemala and came to the US speaking no English . However, once he achieved fame and success, he poured his own money back into his community and built two schools in Nicaragua for those less fortunate.View this post on Instagram
I dedicate #LPG to my grandmother… just like a lot of mothers dealing with the atrocities at the border she also had her children took from her which included my own mother when crossing the border into McAllen, TX. I also dedicate this song to #ELPASO ,The #RGV, ABQ and to all the families that have been split in border towns all over the US.

His own experiences color the music video for “Letting People Go,” created in conjunction with pop trio Prinze George. The music video follows a family attempting to enter the US illegally with the help of a coyote — someone who specializes in the smuggling of people across borders. They’re caught, but eventually released, still miraculously with smiles on their faces.
“I’m going to stand up for what my family went through,” he told TIME. “The next step is to see how we can build a bigger collection of people to join the wave.”
A portion of proceeds from the song will be donated to the RAICES Foundation, a nonprofit that offers legal aid to immigrant families and refugees.

This just might be our first look at the Motorola RAZR V4…
Ever since plans of a new-and-improved RAZR fit for the modern age were revealed, tech enthusiasts have been hot and bothered over the potential designs. This new leak looks official and spot on with earlier renders, leading insiders to believe it’s the real deal.
In 2019, it’s all about the packaging and the new RAZR will come with a sleek, black prism-shaped box. The leaked images feature a wireless charging station included with the smartphone. Plus, a range of accessories.
Motorola confirmed the company was working on a new RAZR in February, promising it would come out, “[no] later than everybody else in the market.”
The phone is expected to cost $1500, whenever it eventually releases.

Fyre Festival‘s notorious mastermind Billy McFarland is already onto his next “get rich” scheme. This time, he’s writing a book from his own perspective with the tentative title, Promythus [no that’s not a typo]: The God of Fyre. Oh boy.
We’ve already seen documentaries on Netflix and Hulu detailing the catastrophic destination festival. Now, it’s Billy’s turn to share his side of the story. Whether his narrative is completely true or not will be irrelevant — because it will be entertaining no matter what.
McFarland is currently serving out his sentence in federal prison for fraud. Meanwhile, freelance editor Josh Raab has been dishing about the book in the works. Billy pens the pages behind bars, then mails to his girlfriend Anastasia Eremenko, his biggest supporter in all his ventures.
He’s said to be putting a rush on the book, because he promises Fyre Festival will not be a “one and done” event. McFarland has serious plans to throw another festival — and he wants his story told before it all goes down.
Back in October, the entertainment entrepreneur pled guilty to wire fraud and admitted to a ticket-selling scam totally separate from Fyre. He was sentenced to six years.

Easter has officially passed, but isn’t the whole point of the holiday about someone coming back 3 days later, anyway? So when YDG dropped his new tune “Black Easter” today, we decided we’d be better off looking past it and just enjoying what we were given.
This actually isn’t the first time YDG has delved into the occult, with his last few songs focusing on the darker side of the world. That being said, “Black Easter” is another in a long list of heavy, chest-rattling tunes that he’s been pumping out these past few months. The foggy cemetery vibes are in full effect leading up to the drop, and then you get a sort of Jaws-esque suspense note before werewolf-like synth stabs cut to your core.
In all senses of the word, this is a horror tune – through and through.
Check out “Black Easter” from YDG below, out now via Thrive Music.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas got hitched this week in a surprise Las Vegas-style wedding complete with an Elvis impersonator.
Not only that, but Diplo live streamed the whole thing. Which isn’t generally considered proper wedding etiquette, but this was most certainly not your typical wedding.
The couple had been engaged since October 2017, but apparently this all happened pretty quickly. Following the Jonas Brothers‘ Billboard performance, Sophie and Joe decided to elope, inviting a star-studded guest list and booking Diplo as their DJ.
Khalid was also in attendance and country duo Dan + Shay performed their hit song “Speechless,” as the couple’s wedding song.
You know that saying — What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Not so much the case here. All thanks to Diplo.

Paris Hilton is readying for the release of her song with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, “B.F.A. (Best Friend’s Ass)” Now, it appears the hype new single is getting a music video featuring BFF Kim Kardashian and her iconic derriere. That’s hot.
TMZ has the proof: Paris on set of the music video shoot, outside Hollywood’s Nightingale Plaza club. Along with Kim K, she enlists in Britney Spears impersonator and star from “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” Derrick Barry. Needless to say, the music video is going to be star-studded and over-the-top glam.
“I can’t stop looking at my #BestFriendsAss,” Paris shares on social media. She calls this her “secret project” with Kim K, but the hashtag gives it away.View this post on Instagram

The secret is pretty much out after Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike dropped their upcoming track with Paris at Lollapalooza Chile 2019. Also, the song can already be pre-saved via Spotify here.
Paris released her self-titled debut album back in 2006. Ever since she started DJing, she’s been promising fans more music. Soon, the world will finally hear what she’s been up to with DV&LM.
There will be the people who automatically love this track because it’s Paris (like myself) and the people who will automatically hate it for the same reason. But, you won’t be able to make a fair assessment unless you go in with an open mind.

Ask most up-and-coming DJs what festival they dream of being booked to play in their career, and they’ll likely say EDC Las Vegas. It’s the biggest electronic music festival in the country, and getting booked to play is not only an honor, but also a gateway to much, much bigger things.
Your EDM is teaming up with Corona Electric Beach and Insomniac Records on their annual contest to get you to Las Vegas for a slot on the Corona Electric Beach stage at the legendary festival.
Corona Electric Beach, an iconic EDM-centric pop-up experience, celebrates the 8th year of its “Beats Meet the Beach” nationwide sponsorship of festival pioneers, including Electric Daisy Carnival, HARD Summer & more. Insomniac Records works to push the brightest and most promising young producers on one of the biggest electronic platforms in the country.
No other event brings over 100 tons of beach sand, palm trees and wood decor elements to create an authentic beach setting with intimate DJ sets that brings the Corona experience to life.
Entering the contest is simple: Entrants must submit either one (1) 30-45 minute DJ mix that demonstrates boldness and precision, OR one (1) 3-8 minute original track via the Wavo Entry Site that captures or demonstrates an optimal combination of originality and professionalism.
The prizes are incredible:

Many people would travel to the ends of the Earth to see Swedish House Mafia perform live. The #1 DJ in the world, Martin Garrix, just so happens to be one of those people.
In an interview with Power Hit Radio, Garrix expresses his deep appreciation for the group and describes how it was seeing them perform together again. “It was amazing,” he gushes. “I’m a huge fan of the guys. Seeing the show, hearing all the song, seeing them onstage together again — it was amazing.”
He talks first meeting the guys, back when he once snuck into a Swedish House Mafia show, how Sebastian Ingrosso especially has become a mentor, and most importantly, the radiating happiness and joy felt during the concert.
“I’m a huge fanboy,” Garrix admits. If he wasn’t heading off on tour, he’d be hitting up round two tonight, and probably even be back for a third time the next night.

Following Avicii’s death last year, one of his biggest advocates and one of the biggest champions of mental health has been his father, Klas Bergling. In the time since his son’s passing, he’s received many awards on his behalf, often speaking on the importance of mental health in the process.
When he accepted an honorary award during the Grammy Gala in Sweden, known as the Grammisgalan, in February, he said during his acceptance:
“When it came to the music, [Tim] was on the verge of obsessed to reach the optimal he had imagined. It could be demanding for many who worked with him. He was a shy person who didn’t want to be in the center and he had a hard time with the official role. He had a need to withdraw, find peace and find himself — something that many of us probably recognize.”
Now, at this year’s International Music Summit in Ibiza, Klas will be discussing the topic of mental health and shining a light on the vital work of the Tim Berling Foundation.
A keynote topic at this year’s summit, The Mental Health Crisis Debate will also be joined by music artist and mental health campaigner Professor Green and esteemed DJ and producer Luciano. They will be joined by mental health experts who have been treating some of the industry’s most successful talents, including shesaid.so member and owner of Your Green Room, Clare Scivier, and electronic artist and activist Madame Gandhi, the former drummer for M.I.A.

Wherever you are and whatever you’re doing — stop right now and take a moment to “DANCE.” Lucii‘s latest single just hit Wakaan and it’s enough reason to dance like no one is watching.
“DANCE” serves as followup to Lucii’s beautifully produced original and label debut “Neptune.” This time, she’s piling on the low-end surges and heavy-hitting notes, all laced with just a tinge of electronica to set the mood right.
The new single reminds of that same feeling you get when you hear the first song that made you fall in love with dance music. Perhaps for some, “DANCE” will be that catalyst.
Lucii explains the making of “DANCE” in saying:
I really enjoy music that gives me a sense of freedom. I wanted to try and capture that idea of being present and in the moment, enjoying the people, places and situation you are currently in. Allowing all your fears and insecurities to melt away because of how great you feel listening to music: dancing and living in that moment.

FANGS has teamed up with Big Beat Records to deliver his most bass-heavy statement to date. “Money” sounds like an instant club smash, more experimental than ever with the producer’s signature hypnotizing capabilities and relentless drive.
Elements of house and techno meet with mind-bending bass for a powerful, one-of-a-kind hybrid. Clocking in around 98 BPM, this is the slowest speed we’ve heard FANGS operate at thus far, and the result is gripping to say the very least.
FANGS has a knack for finding the most haunting and hooking vocals to match his vibe. Both male and female chants and chops diversify “Money” into a cat and mouse game, as FANGS drops his instantly recognizable dark and brooding basslines to counter any lingering sweetness heard in the music.
With the release of “Money,” we finally hear more of a backstory on this mystery producer. The Brazilian-born, Miami-bread, and now LA-based producer known by FANGS launched his solo career after honing his craft as former founding member of Brass Knuckles (Ultra Records). The remarkable talent is a self-taught producer and musician who plays guitar, drums, bass and the keys.
FANGS also announces a new monthly residency starting in June 2019 at Sound Nightclub in LA, in partnership with Your EDM.FANGS – “Money”

Jai Wolf has always been one of the most socially conscious and activist figures in dance music, though it’s been a while since he’s taken up a cause. He’s been busy at work on his debut album, which dropped in April, and is now following it up with a nationwide tour.
But, this business with Marshmello and Chris Brown has caught his attention, especially after Mello lamented on Twitter: “You can never make everyone happy.” It’s a true statement if there ever was one, but you can certainly avoid doing demonstrably bad things.
To that tweet, Jai Wolf replied: “u could start by standing up against the death threats @laurenevemay from chvrches is getting […] not to sound like a white knight or anything but holy shit it’s so sad to see my favorite band have to increase security because of this chr*s br*wn nonsense.”

In the days following the band’s condemnation of the song, Mayberry began receiving numerous death threats against her, as well as threats of rape. She has since disabled comments on her Instagram because the threats were becoming so ubiquitous.
Marshmello has yet to directly comment on the situation or any of the backlash against him for collaborating with either Chris Brown or Tyga.

What were you doing when you were 14? I was still addicted to Maple Story, had barely thought about my future, and was most concerned about that one girl who sat two rows back from me in Geology. Moore Kismet, on the other hand, is a testament to developing your dreams early and pursuing them to the best of your abilities.
Out today from SHARPS and Moore Kismet on Never Say Die (Moore’s first big label release) is “Mutant.” It’s short, at just 2 minutes 25 seconds, but it’s incredibly dense with sound design and wild energy. There’s not much melody to speak of, but this doesn’t feel like a track that you’d sit at home and listen to with a cup of tea anyhow. “Mutant” is much more the type of tune you blast at a house party when you want people to get extra rowdy.
Expect way more from both SHARPS and Moore Kismet this year! Listen to “Mutant” below, out now on NSD.

LA act Fancy Cars have a brand new EP on the way. The start of this exciting project is signaled with the first track ‘Promises,’ which we’re premiering below.
Along with freshly imagined vocals, the duo has created a bassy edit of Nero’s track of the same name, and it features deeply rooted grooves and a sultry vibe.
They say: “Our reimagined version of Nero’s smash hit using our good friend Caroline Kole’s vocals is our take on how this timeless hit could sound, had it been produced in 2019.”
Give it a listen here and get in the mood for the rest of the EP .
Working with chill connoisseurs Absent Mind for the first time this week is Han Chien Leow, who releases ‘In The Darkness.’ The Malaysian artist brings out sweeping melodies and soft vocals in this record, and he has previously dropped sounds for BredNButter and Black Sunset Music.
Lingering touches of chords and atmospheric pauses create a tangible vibe, and it’s been produced with real feeling. Han says this track is ““one of my greatest tracks – deeply reflecting on the feelings of the visuals and sounds.”

As immersive as music can already be, it’s now 2019 and simple audio waves squander the possibilities that current technology affords artists and musicians. Music videos were a great first step to bridging sight and sound in a streamable format, but now, artists are taking it further and further and creating whole visual experiences to accompany their works.
Cue Devault, who’s just released his new JADE EP, along with a 13-minute immersive visual that takes you into the mind of the darkness and spits you back out the other end. Blending Zhu-like qualities with a darker, more electric and sinister sensibility, Devault creates a sonic space and visual atmosphere that are all his own.
This is easily Devault’s most ambitious project to date. Telling a cohesive story through sound, let alone depicting it visually and syncing everything together, is a task many attempt but few accomplish.
Stream it here if you must, but JADE is best experienced via the visual below.

Rising young producer/DJ Bodalia is back, this time with a fresh new remix for NERVO’s latest track “Habit.” The med student by day, DJ by night is one of the more unique figures in the industry. Having developed quite a reputation with the student DJ scene in Europe, (Kishan) Bodalia has had an official remix for Lost Frequencies, and has garnered radio support on BBC Radio 1, all while being a full time medical school student. His remix of “Habit” is sure to garner tons of plays on dance music radio.
The original version of “Habit” is very much a mainstream-leaning pop song, the Bodalia remix takes the original, turns up the tempo, and transforms it into a much more proper dance floor tune. As the NERVO sisters vocals play out, the synths and percussion elements set the perfect tone, along with a nice bassline and low end. The synths get brighter and more production elements come into play as the the song gets to the pre-chorus. Finally for the drop/chorus we get full on summer house vibes, perfect for either the club or a day party. The combination of well-refined dance music elements and the NERVO sisters addictive vocal hooks make this a perfect compliment to any DJ set this summer.
Kishan originally met NERVO (more specifically, their tour manager) backstage at their NERVO Nation event at Ushuaïa Ibiza back in 2017. After partying with the girls again at their Ministry of Sound show in London a few months later and receiving support from them on one of his previous releases, the girls invited him to put his own personal spin on “Habit”
